GOP U.S. Senate candidate makes last push in panhandle

Posted: Updated:
Omaha business attorney Bart McLeay is making one final push to replace Republican U.S. Senator Mike Johanns before the next week's primaries.
McLeay visited the panhandle this week talking and listening to residents.

The Nebraska native says he's focusing on financial matters and understanding the legal and constitutional issues to protect all Nebraskans.

McLeay says undecided voters should take a look at the resume of all the candidates and says he hopes they vote for him..
"I think if they do that they're going to see that my background in financial matters as a business attorney, my ability in reaching across the aisle and even within the Republican party to try and find a consensus is something that will aid Nebraska in the future," said McLeay.
McLeay is running against Ben Sasse, Shane Osborn, Sid Dinsdale, and Clifton Johnson.
