Dozens attend annual classic car show in Scottsbluff

Posted: Updated:
Car lovers came out to enjoy the sights and sounds of several classic cars in one KOTA Territory city this weekend.
The Western Nebraska Community College Motorsports club hosted the 11th annual car show and open house in Scottsbluff.

Car enthusiasts of all ages smiled and examined cars and motorcycles on display.

One spectator, Glennie Sheehy, recently moved to Scottsbluff from Kansas City and says there's not much beauty in today's cars but she appreciates events like the one in Scottsbluff to remember her youth.
"I think it's wonderful, I use to have a '65 Mustang Convertible, loved that car and to see what people can do with cars, restoring old cars it just leaves a sense of the way it was instead of the way cars are today...everything looks alike," said Sheehy.
The motorsports club consists of WNCC students from the automotive, automotive body, and welding programs.
