Posted: Updated:
A Sidney man who was caught burglarizing a golf course and fleeing from police back in February has been given a lengthy prison sentence.

29-year-old Nathan Pohl has been convicted on amended charges of attempted burglary and escape, both class four felonies. Today he was sentenced to 20-60 months' imprisonment for attempted burglary and 12-36 months for escape, both Class IV felonies. The sentences were ordered to run consecutively.

Pohl was found hiding in a vehicle after escaping from the sidney police station when he was arrested for burglarizing Sidney's Hillside Golf Course.

Pohl pled no contest to the charges back in April
