Nebraska Farm Bureau partners with AirMedCare Network to save lives

Posted: Updated:
One network known to save a number of lives has partnered with another organization to increase that number.

AirMedCare Network and the Nebraska Farm Bureau have announced their partnership in a membership program.

This program would make it more accessible to use a medical flight for anyone needing an emergency air lift. A membership with the network ensures that a member has no out–of–pocket expenses.

Scotts Bluff County Commissioner Chairman Mark Masterton had a first hand experience with needing an air lift when he had an operation that he says went south.

"They airlifted me from here to Denver, so I have personal experience to tell you that (I guess it was Airlink at that point in time) with that experience I was very pleased to have that service here in Scottsbluff, otherwise I wouldn't even be here talking to you right now," says Masterton.

For more information on obtaining a membership, contact Michelle Beeney at 308-641-7833.
