Like a photo on Facebook to help Scotts Bluff County Fairgrounds get a facelift

Posted: Updated:
People in Scotts Bluff County can help their local fairgrounds get a facelift by liking a photo on Facebook.

The Scotts Bluff County Fairgrounds has the opportunity to receive up to $2,000 dollars in a Facebook contest hosted by Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company.

The 'Fairgrounds Facelift' contest is pitting ten midwestern fairgrounds against each other, and the three that get the most likes on Facebook receives anywhere from $500 to $2,000.

Lanna Hubbard, Scotts Bluff County Fair Manager, says if Scotts Bluff County wins, the money will go to create an indoor livestock wash rack to host livestock shows in the winter time.

“To have something in the winter, that would benefit livestock producers and showmen to have a place to get in and out of the weather, And also, we have a huge AKC dog show that’s here, it would help with that tremendously also.“
