One of two Torrington teens who robbed a Mitchell convenience store at gunpoint in December will be sentenced on Thursday  in Scotts Bluff County District Court.

Last month, 15-year-old Dylan Cardeilhac pled guilty to a Class II Felony robbery charge. In exchange for the plea, prosecutors dropped a charge of use of a firearm to commit a felony.

The Kwik Stop was robbed by two masked individuals on December 3rd at approximately 1:35 a.m. Victor Gonzales was carrying a shotgun, and Cardeilhac had a plastic bag to collect all the money from the cash register.

Cardeilhac bragged about his role on Facebook, and a school resource officer turned him into authorities. Gonzales still remains at large.

Cardeilhac will be sentenced on at 1 p.m. and could be sentenced up to 50 years in prison.

He is also facing a 1st Degree Murder charge stemming from the February 14th murder of Scotts Bluff County Corrections Officer Amanda Baker. 16-year-old Guy Eagle Elk is being charged as an accomplice in the case.

A pretrial conference for Cardeilhac is also set for Thursday in Scotts Bluff County District Court.
