Two local men federally indicted on meth charges

Men from Scottsbluff and Gering have been federally indicted on meth charges.

21-year-old Emmanuel Castro Molina is being charged with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine by U.S. District Attorney of Nebraska Deborah Gilg. On May 16th, Scottsbluff Police found 647.3 grams of the drug in his home on 12th Avenue. The maximum penalty is life imprisonment and/or a $10 million fine.

Also indicted is 29-year-old Christopher Garcia of Gering. He is being charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (methamphetamine) stemming from a May 9th arrest.

If convicted, Garcia is facing up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
