The newest student dormitories at a KOTA Territory university are well on the way to being ready for move-in day.

The three Eagle Ridge housing units on the Chadron State College campus are progressing on schedule, according to the construction site supervisor.

The dorms, which will house up to 72 students, are scheduled to open for junior and senior's prior to the start of the fall semester on August 18.

All framing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning is complete in the center unit.

Crews are currently working on the interiors of the units, texture and painting walls, carpeting floors, and installing cabinets and plumbing fixtures.

Detail work and paint colors are still being finalized for the exterior of the three buildings.
