Western Nebraska Community College's newest dorms have made their way to campus.

A large crane was in Sidney Wednesday, to put these new dormitories on their foundations at WNCC Sidney.

The dorms were assembled at Magnolia Homes in Gering, and were transported via truck to Sidney.

The buildings will help to address a housing shortage in the city.

The dorms consist of two buildings, each with six bedrooms that will be able to house up to 24 students.

Each modular also has a kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room.

The dorms are expected to be ready for students to move into before the fall 2014 semester.
