For the fourth year in a row, Regional West Medical Services receives praise for outstanding cancer care.
Regional West Medical Center has once again earned the Outstanding Achievement Award from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.

The award recognizes cancer programs that achieve excellence in providing quality care to cancer patients.

Jeff Kriewald, Director of the Cancer Treatment Center at Regional West Medical Center, says to achieve the award, the cancer program is put through a rigorous evaluation survey, and surpassed an extra set of criteria.
"We've been able to achieve that award every time we've been surveyed since 2003, and we're surveyed every three years. And so, its been a great achievement by our caner program and shows we have the professionals in place and tools that we need to provide very good cancer care here."
Regional West Medical Center offers a variety of comprehensive cancer treatment care, from surgery to medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, dietary social work and hospice care.
