Close to 400 vintage cars expected for Rock-N-Roll Father's Day Classic

Organizers are expecting a record setting year for the High Plains Auto Club’s annual Rock 'N Roll Father's Day Classic.

Saturday is the big day, starting with a parade in the morning at 9 a.m. kicking off on 10th Street in downtown Gering. Then it's off to Five Rocks Amphitheater where all the cars will be on display for everyone to see.

Classic cars, remodeled cars and ultra sleek hot rods will all be rolling into town from across the region.

Car show chairman Jim Spencer says this year they are expecting a record setting number of entrants. "Well, it looks like this year we’re going to have the top number," explains Spencer. "Looks like we’re going to be running around 375 to 400."

There will be food and drinks at the show, so you, dad, and the whole family can make a day of it.
