Scotts Bluff County man arrested after stealing SUV, assaulting two women

A 20-year-old Scotts Bluff County man is behind bars after stealing an SUV and assaulting two women.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, Scottsbluff police were dispatched to the area of Marcus Drive for a disturbance in the street.

After arriving, officers say one woman told them her boyfriend, Keenan Aldrich, were arguing and had punched her.

Police say when Aldrich tried to leave in the SUV, he approached the second woman and punched her about eight times in the face before running away westbound on foot. Police say the girlfriend's friend suffered from a swollen forehead and scratches on her left shoulder.

A short time later, police found and arrested Aldrich near a trailer park on 1018 16th Avenue where he was then transported to the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center.
He's being charged with third degree domestic assault, third degree assault and theft of a motor vehicle.
