Hudson Meng hosting 2nd annual artifact roadshow

For the second year, the Hudson-Meng Education and Research Center will host an event similar to that of ‘Antiques Roadshow.’

The public is invited to bring their own artifacts in to be identified by professional archaeologists and artifact identification experts.

Ranger Kathleen Hanson says the event was so successful last year, they are hoping for an even bigger turn out.

“The idea is that anyone in the area, or even outside of it, can bring us their artifacts, show them to us, and we’ll actually help you identify the artifacts that you have, maybe give you some background information, and at the same time we get to learn about where people are finding these,” says Hanson.

The event will take place from June 20th-22nd at the Hudson-Meng Education and Research Center. Hudson-Meng is located 19 miles north of Crawford and open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m..
