Judge increases bonds for Scottsbluff man accused of domestic assault, theft

A Scotts Bluff County judge has increased the bond for a Scottsbluff man accused of third degree domestic assault and stealing a car.

On Friday, 20-year-old Keenan Aldrich appeared before judge James Worden during a bond review hearing.

Aldrich is accused of stealing an SUV and assaulting two women in Scottsbluff earlier this month. 

Worden cited Aldrich's extensive criminal history as justification for doubling his bond from $25,000 to $50,000 dollars for domestic assault.

Aldrich's will be back in court on July 22nd for his pre-trial conference relating to his domestic assault charge.

He is also scheduled to have a pre-trial hearing on July 21st for his charge of stealing a car. Judge Worden also increased Aldrich's bond from $5,000 to $15,000 for his theft of a motor vehicle charge.
